AssayMark is designed and built by Muhammad Nauman Aslam Khan, founder of Darklayer Tech Ltd, in London.

I spent nearly three years building and maintaining production websites before moving into security, which means I have broken and fixed the same systems this platform now assesses. I hold an MSc in Computer Networks and Security from the University of Essex, and my applied practice covers log analysis and threat detection, intrusion detection, and vulnerability assessment.

The idea came from that first job. Clients were sitting on all the evidence they needed and had no way to read it — the gap was never the data, it was the interpretation. AssayMark is an attempt to close that gap for organisations that will never hire a security analyst.

I am the sole developer. Every line of the platform is mine, and if something in it is wrong, it is mine to fix.

AssayMark is pre-launch. Darklayer Tech Ltd was incorporated in England and Wales in January 2026 and is not yet trading.
